The IHOBF will be presenting new hand drums to selected students who participate in the Make An Impression Drum Circle program. The IHOBF will award a hand drum to one drum circle student from each program. In order to be eligible to receive a hand drum, you must:

• Complete the Make An Impression Drum Circle Program
• Complete the Making A Drum activity
(this activity can be downloaded below, or your drum circle instructor
can provide you with a copy of the activity)

Once you have completed the activity by making your own drum, let your drum circle instructor know that you have finished the project. Your drum circle instructor and the IHOBF will then designate a day when students can bring in their completed drums for consideration in connection with the awarding of new hand drums. One student from each program will be selected to receive a hand drum, based on the structure, design and sound of the drum that they have created.

New hand drums will be presented at the program site at the end of the Drum Circle Program, or at the year-end Make An Impression Program Recitals and/or performances at the House of Blues.
